Studio Maternity Sessions
My home studio is in Vista, it has beautiful natural light. Below are some examples of
the photos I take in my studio. I have some beautiful draping fabric for Fine Art portraits. I also have a few dresses, and a couple of lace robes available
to borrow for the session, they are being used in these photos below :)

Outdoor Maternity Sessions
The best time for outdoor sessions is the last hour before sunset, that's when we get the beautiful light. My favorite places are-
Ansty Hill - national park, lots of native trees, hills and long grass and wild flowers in spring.
Largs Bay- beautiful beach with lovely sand dunes and wild flowers in some seasons.
Semaphore- same as above, both beaches usually have car parking available close to the beach.
Pine Park- at Tea Tree Gully. Very green, Pine trees, lovely little park.
Botanic Park- City, parking on Plane Tree Drive. Lovely park with big trees, very green.
Cobbler Creek Recreation Park- Wynn Vale. Very natural, lots of native gum trees, long grass.
Morialta- Rostrevor. Very natural with native gum trees.
Mt Lofty Botanic Gardens- Adelaide Hills. Gorgeous place, especially between during March, April and May.
I'm happy to go to a different location, if it's more than 20km from Vista, there may be a travel fee.

FAQs
How many weeks pregnant should I be to have the session?
32- 35 weeks is the best time.
Do you offer sessions on the weekend?
Yes I am available for maternity sessions on the weekend if you can't do a weekday. I have limited sessions available on the weekend so it is best to get in quick.
Can my husband and other children be included in the session?
Yes, absolutely! I encourage it.
Do I pay before the session?
$100 deposit is to be paid before the session. I can't guarantee your session date will be kept available until the deposit has been paid.
What happens if the weather is bad on the day of my outdoor session?
If the weather isn't suitable for the session, we can reschedule. I usually leave the final decision up to my clients whether
they want to go ahead if the weather isn't perfect.
they want to go ahead if the weather isn't perfect.
What should I wear?
I suggest wearing fairly fitted clothing. Long flowy dresses look beautiful. For outdoor sessions lots of colour looks great, oranges, reds yellows and blue.
I have a few dresses available to borrow. The dresses I have are all white and very sheer, so if you would like to borrow them, I suggest wearing white, or skin tone underwear. There is a place I hire dresses from called Mama Rentals, they have some really beautiful dresses available.https://mamarentals.com.au/collections/frontpage
For family maternity sessions just make sure the colours you are all wearing match. Avoid large logos and checks.

Can I have my hair & makeup done for the session?
Yes, you definitely can, the fee is $150- I just need at least two weeks notice so I can book in my hair and makeup artist.
